Professor mocks campus preachers, asks students to accept Darwin as lord and savior

Itinerant evangelists are upset that an anthropology professor at the University of Connecticut mocked their brimstone-and-hellfire mode of preaching the gospel on Tuesday.

Don Karns of Hampton, Virginia told Christian News Network that the performance by James Boster, a professor of anthropology, was "very unbecoming."

"He asked me if I had accepted Darwin as my lord and savior," Karns said. "He was very demonstrative."

And the University of Connecticut leadership is apparently squeamish about the term "bullshit".

A bit over-the-top, but who can blame him?

The nicest bit about this is how the street preachers are deeply affronted that somebody would publicly harangue them with ideas that they find offensive.

LOL! That reminds me of the incident with an apocalyptician on the Lexington line. He would not shut up, there was no room to move away to, so I thought, what the heck, let's HAVE A CONVERSATION. Let me tell you, that wasn't a scenario he'd prepared for.

These days, I'd probably listen to an apocalyptician.

I would listen to them if they could sing it apocalypso style.
