This movie was made from the fiction book, Cool Hand Luke by Donn Pearce .
It was one of the best movies starred Paul Newman in the leading role other than Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid , he had played the role of a sidekick to Robert Redford, as popular akin to " Brad Pitt" or "Tom Cruise" star popularity in Sixties The film was released in 1967, but I have managed to view in a DVD format.
The review of the movie is very frank and entertaining ro read before viewing this old movie on your TV set.
