Hi, Lisa! I'm de-lurking to say that I'm currently reading Cornwell's Enemy of God and really enjoying it - how do you like the Saxon Chronicles?

I absolutely LOVE this series! I'm listening to the audiobooks and I had to stop and listen to others that are from the library and have people waiting. I'm dying waiting to get to book 5. I like Tom Sellwood the best as far as narrators go. This series was recommended to me this September and I can't believe I had never read them. I have to say, Cornwell writes the best battle scenes I've ever read. How is Enemy of God?

Oooh, audio, eh? I'll have to see if my library has it. Enemy of God (the second in the trilogy) is great, and the sereis so far is wonderful. Definitely recommend it!

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll definitely be adding that series to the ever-growing "To Read" list. The same person who recommended The Last Kingdom also recommended "The Archer's Tale" which is apparently AKA Harlequin. You may want to check it out as well.
