William SHAKESPEARE Selected Plays 1981, Full leather edition?

I have seen a few offerings of this edition on eBay all claiming to be genuine leather. I appears to be full leather from what I can tell in the pics and has a marker ribbon. I just assumed it was the library edition done in full leather. However, I just found a new eBay post that claims it's faux leather. This would be very distressing to me as I just purchased one. The cover of this one is identical to the one I just bought so I am sure they are the same book.

Anyone able to clarify this for me? Here is the one I purchaced.

Unfortunately, I cannot provide anything definitive, but my suspicion is that this edition of Shakespeare is in fact probably not full leather. The only reason I say that is because this particular title and binding style is not part of any of the series with which I am familiar. That said, I never made a point of collecting volumes in or becoming very familiar with the "World's Best Loved Books" series. If you get the book, it should say in one of the first few pages which series it is from which may help clarify. If indeed it is from the "World's Best Loved Books" that you can rest assured it is full leather. Please let us know what you find out.

That's exactly what I thought. Also the cover crease is facing the inside while all the faux leather ones I've seen has the crease on the outside.

Here is another one claiming to be leatherette. Looks real to me. Doesn't show what series it's from though.

The book in question seems to be from the same series as the rest of these. Look at some of these books he is claiming are faux leather.

That is some amazing looking imitation leather. Anyone recognize any of these books? Series?
