Not unpardonable,culpable, censurable,or sable.

"Plot" or "story-line" is what
"__ __ __ __ __" meant
In Milton's time; but whether lent
Or bought, as a book-item, it means, today
"Story to apply to yourself"; its way
Is often with animal- characters, fierce or tame;
So, it might be the Word of the Crambo! Game.

(William Faulkner's
"A __ __ __ __ __", b t w
was his first publication after winning the Nobel Prize.)

A famous "House" had 7 of them, but other
Than that --find __ __ __ __ __ s in Lit? Don't bother!

That tower of linguistic confusion?

Not sable, fable, stable or babel - in fact I may be thrown out of Crambo as I was thinking like a poet and chose a rhyme that worked for me, when I listened to it, but didn't look so good when I wrote it - for the simple reason that the crambo word does not contain a 'b.' It has another 'hard' consonant instead - but it does have BOTH vowel sounds.

Not sable,fable,stable,babel or cradle. ( I'll stop putting the early words,now - there are only three 'hard' consonants, 'd' being one of them, so I haven't made it too difficult)

A soup-serving utensil?

Not cradle or ladle. Try three syllables.

In an effort to bring this game to a close I offer the clue, 'a roll with a hole' as a perfect rhyme. Sorry I didn't think of it before.

Elsewhere, LT threads are debating the "Lone __ __ __
Theory of assassination; so, before you shut
This thread down, accept
"__ __ __ __ __"*
Combined with"__ __ __"
as the food stuff
That is the Crambo! word, no matter how rough
Its deduction might seem; it evokes a co.
Called "Dunkin' __ __ -__ __ __s";
For all that, I could be wrong, though

*also spelt "__ __ -"

You're not trying to persuade us to guess by means of deception or flattery?

In writing 15, I had completely forgotten what it "rhymes with" in the Thread- title.
But could it be __ __ __ __ __, a Jewish equivalent of 15? (Basing the guess entirely on 14.)

#16, Yes I am - the word was' inveigle.' Well done, rodney.
