The last post on here was August. I don't believe all the Brits are still on holiday. September usually sees us reading and writing again. Has the new design put some people off - or are we just too busy? I have been blogging instead of chatting on here but don't get much reaction. Where are you all?

I'm here.
Work's been manic - and seems to have been that way for months. But I've just had a bit over a week off and have got the batteries recharged. Scotland was excellent and we only got drenched once in a week, which I'm taking as a success.

LT wise, I have a plan to catalogue all my guidebooks. I'm a tinsy bit obsessive about buying a guidebook and don't feel a visit is complete until I have read it from cover to cover. But that does mean I have a fair few hanging around. And probably a few of them twice, so it might be interesting to catalogue them formally. Maybe a Christmas holiday project.

I'm here too - as Helenliz says we in Scotland seem to have got off very well today (I'm in Inverness) but for various reasons I've been reading quite a bit more although I've been buying books even faster so have quite a large TBR shelf.

Scotland was wonderful when we went, especially Moffat and New Lanark. I fell in love with the place when we went up to the tattoo.
Trouble is, we've been ill since and feel it might be our last adventure.

So sorry to hear that, oldstick. I do hope your pessimism is unfounded.

Even though it's nearly November, I am on holiday - in Wexford for the opera and very agreeable it all is.
