Big changes at local independent bookstores

First came the news that Jack Cella, long-time (40+ years!) manager of the Seminary Co-op Bookstore will retire in mid-October.

Today, we learned that Ann Christopherson and Linda Bubon, who have owned Women & Children First for over thirty years, likewise will retire, and the store is for sale: http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/breaking/chi-women-and-children-first-201...

So if you've ever wanted to run a bookstore, now's your chance.
