I'm a big fan of cozies and I'd love to see what everyone is reading. I'm reading Death Al Dente by Leslie Budewitz.

This is just-on-the-border-of-cozy; partially cozy, maybe: The Cater Street Hangman by Anne Perry. It's the first in the Thomas & Charlotte Pitt series; Charlotte and her sisters are still at home being proper Victorian belles.

Recently read Murder on a girl's night out and Murder on a bad hair day from the Southern Sisters series.

Another one I recently enjoyed was Anything Goes by Jill Churchill; first in a cozy series set in Depression-era New York State; a brother-and-sister sleuth team hit by hard times have to make some significant lifestyle changes.

I'm presently enjoying The Snake, the Crocodile, and the Dog, book 7 in the Amelia Peabody series.

A Mourning Wedding, an earlier one in the Daisy Dalrymple series, I finally placed a hold at the lobrary - I never make it out to the branch that has it.
Would Mary Stewart be considered cozy? I am reading This Rough Magic.

I just started Pies and Prejudice by Ellery Adams which I'm really liking.

Reading The Cat Who Talked to Ghosts by Lilian Jackson Braun.

I just got done reading Threadbare by Monica Ferris. I thought it was nice, it kept my interest. :)

My mother likes those books, I haven't read one yet, but I've been thinking about trying one.

Just got Heirs and Graces out of the library. The latest in the Her Royal Spyness series.

I'm reading Scones and Bones by Laura Childs, the 12th book in the very enjoyable Tea Shop mystery series.

hen of the Baskervilles. Not great, but exactly the right book for right now.

12> Is the series holding up OK? I was an avid Theodosia and Drayton fan (being a huge tea lover) but mid-series, the dialogue was beginning to get a little improbable. Would like to give her another run if it's picked up.

The Weaver's Inheritance is on my TBR stack...a gentle and well-done medieval series featuring Roger the Chapman, savvy puzzle-solving pedlar.

Cozy mystery fans! One of the big cozy blogs has a list of Christmas-themed mysteries for you!

Reading my first Cleo Coyle, Billionaire Blend. Enjoying it; the author has a good handle on police procedure as well as sticking in all the cozy coffee details and recipe ideas.

None of the books I'm currently reading are cozies, but I spent the last few months of 2013 reading several of the books in the Brother Cadfael series by Ellis Peters. They were fun, lightweight books set in medieval England. I wouldn't mind finishing the series some day.

Just started The Body in the Fjord by Katherine Hall Page. It's mid-series and I've only read the first one The Body in the Belfry, but I like the author's New England-cozy tone. Need to put her on my used book watch list.

I'm reading Speaking From Among the Bones by Alan Bradley from the Flavia de Luce series for the Early Reviewer program. Right now I'm not that impressed.

Catching up with my Earlene Fowler; I've missed a couple including Steps to the Altar. Also continuing an Anne Perry marathon. By strict definition, since her investigators are pros, she's not quite cozy, but the elegant and proper women that support them are lovely to read about.

Starting Halloween reading a little early with A Diva Haunts the House. Like that it's set in Old Town Alexandria, VA, which seems like an appropriately haunted place.
24twogerbils
Reading Blackberry Pie Murder. I'm new to Joanne Fluke stories.
25gmathis
Reading The Mysterious Strangler; a period cozy with Mark Twain as the sleuth.
26twogerbils
Reading The Litter of the Law by Rita Mae Brown and continuing the pre-Halloween spirit.

As a matter of fact, we just finished The Litter of the Law by Rita Mae Brown and Sneaky Pie Brown last night & reviewed it for Early Reviewers.

Miss Dimple Picks a Peck of Trouble. Nice addition to the series. Although, typical of a series in a small town, will there be anoyone left in town after all the murder victims and murderers are gone? Except for our crack team of detectives led by Miss Dimple, that is.
