NO, no, no--G, man, where's your ears... G, g, g...
5LolaWalser
For reasons I can't quite formulate, this gif makes me happy
7LolaWalser
I'll have what he's having.
20Macumbeira
Now this is what I call cute !
22LolaWalser
Sometimes the pandas get together in a bamboo bar...
23LolaWalser
Sometimes there's a mouse in your teacup
26LolaWalser
Someone somewhere is making teddy bears just the right size for mice.
28Macumbeira
White rats have red eyes
30Macumbeira
So it is mouse alright ?
Can a cat confirm cath ?

34FlorenceArt
26> That's slightly less scary than the alternative.
37anna_in_pdx
Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore....
38AnnaClaire
Well, at least Dorothy didn't pin back his ears.
39LolaWalser
more cats in unusual places... I can perch where I want, when I want!
41FlorenceArt
40> Beautiful!!
44Macumbeira
A vacuum - hamster
48LolaWalser
Sand on tongue! Bleargh!
50anna_in_pdx
The eyes have STOLEN MY SOUL...
51LolaWalser
Yes, good, that is the plan!
54AnnaClaire
You gotta admit, this one is sweet.
56LolaWalser
Ha!
61Macumbeira
After 726 posts, the cute is finally over.
I guess it was something in the members system which had to come out, like daemons exorcised out of the bodies of the possesed

Begin reboot attempt:
63Macumbeira
Exhaustion. I know that feeling
64LolaWalser
Also exhausting: making love to a watermelon.

#62, that picture reminded me of a funny story from my past.
My boss's husband used to run a half marathon each sunday with their "Red Setter'.
On one such run. he phoned her (well before mobile phones) to ask her to pick up the DOG since it "...had given up and it's paws were bleeding...". Poor pooch.
After she had picked the dog up, he finished his run :-)
ETA. This was the late 70's, and running was important. Even I ran :-)

A half marathon? Cruelty to animals.
My poor old pooch is almost 8 years old and can no longer do even "an easy 3". Our running trail is marked with 0.1 mile markers, so after about 1.2 miles, I tell her to "sit!" and proceed to run an additional 1/10, then I run back and do 1/10th the other way, ad nauseum. She seems to be an entertained spectator.

Hi Sandydog1,
A half marathon? Cruelty to animals.
Can't remember if that's what I said to my boss, but I do remember her saying that that dog (the Red Setter) would follow her husband forever.

Oh Dear Dan (#68) Your picture slipped in as I was typing.
Yes. That does look like a very 'faithful' DOG. Appropriate since I was talking about loyalty.

That dog could drive my car, if I had a car.

On Imgur, either today's or yesterday's pics...
Ha! I know, number 70 resonates with me too. Maybe it is the belly or the saturnine look.
I like the look of 68. I think the person said he was a stray that he picked up...

85MeditationesMartini
...whatever does he have? A jar of yakisoba sauce?
86Macumbeira
Argh, what is yakisoba sauce?
87MeditationesMartini
It goes on these: . It's basically the same as teriyaki sauce, and sukiyaki sauce, and okonomiyaki sauce.

A duck, a cat, in a shark costume, on a Roomba... some budding film auteur is dreaming the impossible dreams!
96guido47
I haven't thought about a "Willy Wag Tail" for a long time, until I saw one yesterday.
Unfortunately they don't live near me, but I thought a stock photo might be appreciated.
They are 'tough little buggers' and do the "Hurt act" to distract you from their nest.
ETA. spelling & grammar :(

The lead is excellent in the movie. His portrayal of the slightly depressed house cat in a shark costume riding a Roomba is jaw dropping. A must for fans of Harmony Korine!

I hear the duck was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor award. Shoulda won!
99LolaWalser
Here's a birdie for you, Guido--I see them every day, with their 80's big shoulder pads:
100DanMat
Reminds me of Sigourney Weaver in Working Girl or maybe a Designing Women era Delta Burke.
101LolaWalser
They are some of the bigger "lawn" birds around here ("lawn" opposed to "lake"--seagulls, geese, swans...), pretty loud and sort of bossy, like officers with red epaulettes screaming "Order! Order!" at the swallows and sparrows.
103DanMat
I've got one of these guys in the parking lot who sings quite loudly around 2 to 3 every morning to the obscenely bright street lights we have in our parking which apparently resemble a full moon...

104LolaWalser
Yes.
106guido47
Lola #99, Hmm, I wonder what the '80's were like 2,000,000+ years ago?
I'm not a "twitcher', but do love the birds I feed. What sort of bird is it Lola?
And DanMat (#100) Shoulder pads = 'Joan Collins'. Sigourney Weaver can only = "Alien".

Guido, 'tis a kind of blackbird.

You know what this thread lacks, it lacks capybaras. What are we, capybara-phobic?
109LolaWalser
Nevaaaar!
115LolaWalser
You have now absorbed your Recommended Daily Intake of capybara pictures.
Thank you for watching, and pleasant dreams.
116Meredy
As an exceptionally cuteness-averse person, I'm hanging my head in shame for finding this thread so irresistible. How would my life have been lacking if I had missed the capybara pictures? And yet...and yet...
117LolaWalser
Don't worry about your street cred, Meredy, the "cute" signage serves merely to put off the shallow ones, the hipster faux-cool crowd.
The truly rugged fear not their soft caramel centres!

"When capybaras mate the male capybara will rub the fluid from his glands onto plants. Then he'll rub the smell on to his body to show who is boss."
My kinda people.

127Macumbeira
I guess they are good to eat. They look good to eat
129anna_in_pdx
They count as fish for lent!
131Macumbeira
These capybaris are huge !
132Macumbeira
I mean capabyris
134Sandydog1
Didn't they make a tapestry of that?
I'm not terribly fond of them. After all, they like cats:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AW5W9HuB1M
And, they sound like Tribbles:
