I just started the serialization of several works of interest that I've translated or am in the process of translating. One might think of this as an ongoing ezine.
This includes by Hanns Heinz Ewers:

Sorcerer's Apprentice
Alraune
Vampire
Hanns Heinz Ewers Volume I
Hanns Heinz Ewers Volume II
Mogani Nameh
A Book of Fables
Illustrated Stories by Hanns Heinz Ewers
Hanns Heinz Ewers Brevier

By Karl Hans Strobl:

Lemuria

By Leonhard Stein:

Fire Lilly

By Stanislaw Przybyszewski:

The Synagogue of Satan
Satan's Children

plus a few other non related items. You can check it out at:

http://anarchistworld.com

New titles will be added as ones are completed. New pages will be automatically posted every few days. This is a labor of love for me. Enjoy!

Thanks, Joe. Any word on when Vampire will be available for purchase (John?)?

It would be wonderful to have the Satans Kinder translation in a high quality Side Real Press edition.

And don't forget Kurt Martens! (please)

Marten's early work is very rare in the original. I'm also intrigued by the short story collection from his early work:
Aus dem Tagebuch einer Baronesse von Treuth und andere Novellen (1899)

I should have Vampire done by mid summer. Dr. Kugel is working on an intro to it as well. No Idea when John will come out with it. (but he will)

Satan's Children should roll right along as it is fairly simple in structure to translate. After its completed I will do my best at a good quality. I can not speak for John, although he is welcome.

Kurt Martens, I need to remember that name!

Roman aus der décadence / von Kurt Martens.

Geschmack und Bildung; kleine Essays.
by Martens, Kurt, 1870-1945.

Schonungslose Lebenschronik, 1870-1900.
by Martens, Kurt, 1870-1945.

I have the above mentioned available.

I really like Leonhard Stein, and there are three of his works available as well.

I forgot to place "India and I" on the list! It is there at your request Ben!

By the way, I have begun "India and I" and the intro plus the first entry "The Belly Dancer and I" is available for reading. A rather delightful personal experience, I might add. I got a laugh out of it when I first read it.

I've been thinking and will add "From Out of Decadence; A Novel" by Kurt Martens to the mix. It will be slow but that is what ezines are all about! Expect the first episode in a week or so.

The purpose of this ezine is to help me keep up my enthusiasm for this work, even when I feel overwhelmed by it. By doing a little at a time it feels like progress is being made. By sharing that little bit at a time others can share in the discovery process.

So much to share; so little time available. Remember, I work seven days a week at two jobs. I would love to be successful enough to quit the weekend job and devote it to translation and writing. That is why I have opted for this new format. After fives years of trickle sales, four or five books a month, something else is needed to expand the level of readership. The serialization of books online is highly experimental and I wouldn't be surprised if I'm the first one to seriously try it. Chuckle.

In any case, welcome to my life's work and my dream coming true! Enjoy and tell others.-joe
