Six ARCs and four purchases to report over the last couple of weeks, so some of these are probably really from March.

Bought What Darkness Brings by C.S. Harris and A Bride by Moonlight by Liz Carlyle. The former is historical mystery, the latter historical romance. Both have been autobuys.

I also purchased two books for my upcoming historical fiction book group reads: Heresy by S.J. Parris and Absolution by Murder by Peter Tremayne. The former is an historical thriller, the latter the first book in the Sister Fidelma historical mystery series.

And here are the ARCs:

* The Daughter of Mars by Thomas Keneally (WWI historical fiction)

* Frozen in Time: An Epic Story of Survival and a Modern Quest for Lost Heroes of World War II by Mitchell Zuckoff (WWII plane crashes and rescue attempts on Greenland)

* The Son by Philipp Meyer (historical fiction family saga beginning in 1840s Texas)

* The Turncoat by Donna Thorland (historical fiction set during the American Revolution)

* The Rogue Steals a Bride by Amelia Grey (historical romance)

* A Little Night Mischief by Emily Greenwood (historical romance)

I just went to a friends of the library sale and came away with 34 books & 3 CDs for $26. Even the check out volunteer said "Wow, you found some interesting books." They were mostly hard backs, lots of pics and big well-made format. I would have gotten more, but I couldn't carry what I had.

Bought two books, but need to control myself again.

One is a biography by Megan Marshall, whose Peabody Sisters I enjoyed. The new book is Margaret Fuller: A New American Life. Think it's my third Fuller biography, although I only have half (one of two volumes) of one of them.

The other is a book of trivia called _Doctor Who FAQ: All That's Left To Know About the Most Famous Time Lord in the Universe_ by Dave Thompson.
