mmignano11, in a post on another thread, made me realize that photos of LTer's libraries, shelves, etc., are scattered across many threads and groups.

This thread is for the purpose of posting links to such photos. Keep in minimal - a link and text (caption, really) is all that's needed.

I'll start, having posted a few photos of my library:

Osbaldistone's library: Two adjacent rooms (library and office); shelving is Skandia®

Some old photos of our home:

The slightly wobbly panoramic attempt to take a photo from the door of our library (it bends a bit where I stepped in partway through--trying to see everything):

I love everyone elses ideas and libraries. Keep up the good work.

Very nice. Is this something you had custom built for your home?

Beautiful! I'll bet you find yourself just wandering into this room for nothing in particular.

Yes, it was custom built ...my wife tells everyone who comes in that it was the reason we built the house! It is octagonal and has secret hidden doors as well. It is a great place to read the Folio Society books! or just to wander in, as you say.

WOW. Looks like you have a dream collection of Franklin Library or Easton Press there, too!
