A slate.com article about Danielewski's The Fifty Year Sword specifically, to argue generally that eBooks can change the way we read (for the better) when done right. A bit overstated but the emphasis upon design / coding is interesting.

Interesting article, thanks for sharing it. The way people read books and even e-books today is changing rapidly. And the process of creating novels is changing towards incorporating different kinds of art. Like in the case with the enhanced version of "The Fifty Year Sword". In this way readers get more involved in the story.
