I was primarily thinking about Jane Rogers, Jane Stevenson...but perhaps, we can even discuss the other Janes: Jane Eyre, Jane Austen, Lady Jane Grey, and Jane Seymour (was Tarzan's Jane English?)

Jane Rogers and Jane Stevenson both are excellent writers, judging from what I've read of their's.

For Rogers, I've enjoyed Mr. Wroe's Virgins, Island and The Voyage Home and I have a few in the TBR pile. I also enjoyed the Good Fiction Guide which she edited.

For Stevenson I have only read her well-done historical fiction trilogy which begins with The Winter Queen, although I have toyed with some of her other titles. Does anyone else enjoyed these two and want to pass on recommendations?

But she was a friend of P. G. Wodehouse...

In the books Jane is American, from Baltimore, but for some unknown reason the films usually portray her as English. Perhaps a dame in the jungle didn't sound right.

Elizabeth Jane Howard isn't technically a Jane, is she? But she still rocks! :)

The Observations by Jane Harris is a very enjoyable novel from 2006.
