Zeitgeist - Helpers not updated

I noticed that the Zeitgeist - Helpers (Top 200 Common Knowledge contributors (log)) has not been updated for at least 5 days. Is this the place to report it?

Yup, noticed it, too, with the other Helper categories as well. I just can't remember whether Helpers were usually updated once a day or less - what's the current cycle, does anyone know?

Since your post, bergs47, I've been monitoring my listing in the Zeitgeist All-time Top 500 work combiners. Ever since then, I've been stuck on 7560. It says 8344 in my profile. So I guess the Zeitgeist page is frozen in time :)

bergs47 - a 'reopened' bug is way off the hot list. You should have left it as Reported. Reopened usually means that something was done, it was closed as fixed, then someone had another problem that they thought was related to the problem.

Unfortunately I don't know any way to get it back on the Reported list, which is what the developers check first when they go on a bughunt. If you don't get any responses from Tim et al in the next couple days, you might email Jeremy (email in Contact list in the footer) and ask him to tweak it.

No worries, it's on Tim's list to look at when he gets a chance.

Any news on this topic? Has anyone noticed any changes in the stats? (I haven't.)

I have been watching but have not noticed any changes for the last week at least...could be longer. NOt sure what is going on. Cheers

Likewise on stats for largest libraries. It has been a month since it updated.

I am 2500 more than it says in CK. I assume badges are not being given out as well, although I am long past it.

As I wrote the first complaint on 31 July (when it was at least 10 days since I saw movement), I'd say its close on 6 weeks now

Hah. There's things on that list 2 years and more. But then, new stuff keeps happening - he said elsewhere that right now they're all absorbed in BookPsychic; when that gets "over the hump", there will (I expect from previous such sessions) be a bug-hunting period before they find a new feature to invent.

Oh Dear now I have been stuck on 14 in combiners for 2 weeks

This appears to be updating ... I took a screenshot yesterday and looked just now and the numbers have shifted. There is some lag-time in this (it won't update instantly), but it does auto-update and has done so since yesterday ...

Yep Recent Combiners isn't updating at all. I'm not showing at all, but have at least 60 recent combinations (in the last 24 hours).

Just an update the CK part of the Zeitgeist is updating, the Combiners isn't.

I tend to be suspicious of these reports, so I took a screenshot at 11:48 today when I got the complaint and just looked at it again. Since just then--it's not 2:42--the following elements in the top section have changed:

Top 100 edition separators
Top 50 author combiners
Top 200 CK contributors

That's 3/7--2/7 of which are confidently described as not changing.

I think what happens is simple. The system recalculates things on a staggered basis. Each query--which, here, means each section--is effectively separate. This comes across to those who expect everything to change at one time as if nothing were changing.

When did the Top 100 work combiners last get updated?

I'm not showing at all in the list. But if you look at the log I should have plenty enough changes to make the list for today - even if the stats were last updated at 10am (LT time).

Seeing that I started this thread, I am confused now what is actually working out of:

Top 100 work combiners (log)
Top 100 edition separators (log)
Top 50 author combiners (log)
Top 50 "distinct author" (log)
Top 200 Common Knowledge contributors (log)

and their all time friends?

If I understand the Top 200 common knowledge contributors list correctly the numbers in brackets are the number of CK contributions? I've made 551 and I'm not on the list.

Edit:
I get it now, the top list is by week. I've over 100 more contributions to go to get in the list of top 200 of all time (bottom of the list is at 687) But is this still a bug, should it be closed?
