I just heard about this group and it looks like a lot of fun!

My first book that I'm reading is City of Bones by Cassandra Clare.

It's my third time reading the book and I'm re-reading it because a new book came out in the series.

Welcome! Glad you decided to join us.

FYI, we've added a couple of wikis to the mix this year. The first is where we keep important threads. The second is the Threadbook where we have a directory to all the members' threads. Both help keep a handle on the chaos! :)

I just finished reading City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare

I forgot how much angst is in the relationships and that makes me love this series even more! Right now I'm 50 pages in the third book of the Mortal Instruments series and I don't know if I can go to sleep without reading more!

I have heard good things of City of Bones, I have added it to the TBR pile. Thanks for reminding me of this one.

You're welcome! It's a good series and one of the few where the romantic triangle angle doesn't annoy me.

I just finished the third book in the series, City of Glass by Cassandra Clare!

I kept getting distracted by a new tv series I'm catching up on and the new semester in college. Now I'm off to read the final book in the Mortal Instruments series: City of Fallen Angels (which I haven't read yet).

I literally just finished City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare.

It definitely ended with a cliffhanger which I was not expecting but I guess that's why she wrote two other books.

I'm gonna take a break from the sci-fi/fantasy and go read the new book by nerdfighter John Green. I got one of the signed ones!!!!!!!

I ended up reading two books sort of back to back.

The first book I read was The Fault In Our Stars by John Green.

John Green's characters are always three-dimensional and seem very real. I thought this was an amazing book about cancer patients and I ended up crying at the end of the novel. And then I watched the season finale of Sherlock on the same day and that made me cry even harder.

The second book I read was Magic Under Glass by Jaclyn Dolamore.

I enjoyed the way the author created this world and how magic is a part of it. The only criticism I have about the novel is that I wished the novel had another 20 or so pages to map out the characters a bit more because I felt like I didn't fully understand who they are. It's still a great novel with an interesting plot and I enjoyed reading it.

I finished Ghost of A Chance by Simon R. Green.

It was a pretty good read and I enjoyed the universe the author created.

I finished another book! The Warrior Heir by Cinda Williams Chima.

I enjoyed reading this book and I liked the way the author created and changed the universe.

I'm about a third of the way through a book I got from the member giveaway and I'll review it as soon as I get done. I'm really liking it so far!

I won a book in the member giveaway and it was Draykon by Charlotte E. English.

It was a pdf file and it was the first actual novel that I read on my computer except for fics! LOL. It was really good!

School was so crazy busy that it took up much of my time and before I knew it the year was over! Over the time since I last updated, I had re-read the 13 released books of the Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher, Darker Still by Leanna Renee Hieber, Divergent by Veronica Roth, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, Death in Venice by Thomas Mann, The Duchess of Malfi by John Webster, A Handful of Dust by Evelyn Waugh, and The Bloody Chamber by Angela Carter.
