Kindle 3 years 3 months and counting

I've been watching this group for awhile and decided that it was time to join. I was very nervous about getting the Kindle when it first came out but I have never regretted getting it. The cost at the time is what made me hesitate the most but I love it soooo much. I've been one of the lucky ones who got their Kindle 1 and I have not experienced any problems. No freezing and now I guess I should go knock on wood to make sure my luck continues. :) I read series books mostly so being able to get the next book in the series after I finish one is great. Please keep up with the comments and advice everyone. This group has been very helpful and interesting. Thanks

We tend not to talk much because (I assume) we're all so busy reading our Kindles! It's a nice group of people though, always willing to help.

I also have a K1 and it is as amazing now as it was when I got it! Today the very same people who criticized my getting an electronic book because of their love of the feel and smell of a real book in their hands are also using e-books. I just smile as I watch them... knowing I was actually in the vanguard of the revolution ; P
