Thought you all might like to know about a new LT Group devoted to reading one title per month from the Best Translated Book Award shortlist.

This is not a disinterested plug—there are 2 NYRB Classics on the list. But I feel certain that if all you did for the next few months was read these books, you wouldn't feel it was time wasted.

FWIW: The Road by Vassily Grossman had a really good translation. I got the NYRB Classics version from Early Reviewers.
