We had Manon last year at the Royal Opera House and coming up this summer are Werther with Sophie Koch and Villazon and then a production from Santa Fe of Cendrillon with the gorgeous Joyce DiDonato (anyone seen this?).

It's true! And if you light a cigarette, one of the streetcars is named Carmen.
I haven't seen that production of Cendrillon, but have had the pleasure of hearing DiDonato in both Barbiere di Siviglia and Nozze di Figaro, and am hoping to be able to catch her concert performance here next month.
