I am a readers' advisory librarian and manager working in the suburbs of Chicago but living in the city. I spend lots of time commuting and listening to many audiobooks.

Likes: windy days, being near water, my pets Shinji and Huxley, beautiful sentences, my boyfriend and his amazing bookstore Unabridged Books, and partly-cloudy days in Autumn.

Dislikes: chain restaurants, drivers who honk at pedestrians, people who eat on the train, scratched records, and bullies.
