I have a varied collection from many genres. My favorite is Proust "In search of lost time" Yes it is a huge committment and can be frustrating at the start but well worth it in the end. Virginia Woolf was an amazing author. On the other hand I do enjoy the vast amount of fantasy literature that is now available.
