My philosophy on math and physics books is: older is better. I don't need a colorful computer generated cartoon of a spherical electron. Or even worse, a 3-D graphic of a black hole.
The best books are dark blue or dusty green. Some yellow books are nice too.

I worked in physics outreach for several years and I traveled around the world getting kids excited about physics. Now I study math full time and love every minute.
I also travel on the Physics Bus with The Physics Factory and perform demonstration shows to kids at various schools.
