La mia biblioteca
We are particularly interested in zines, comics and other self-published literary endeavors created by young people (13 to 30 year-olds) living in the Pacific Northwest. Many of the zines in our collection now are personal zines, but there are also many queer, political, humorous, and DIY-themed zines (and various combinations of the above). Check out our tag cloud to get a better sense of our collection.

Since this is a circulating and not an archival zine collection, most of the zines are still in print and can be obtained from their publishers and/or through distros like Microcosm Publishing in Portland.
Informazione su di me
This is the unofficial catalog for the pilot zine collection at the Seattle Public Library. Starting January 2007, there will be a circulating zine collection housed in the Teen Center at the Central Library.

Bibliographic records for these zines do not currently exist in SPL's catalog. Hopefully, if the collection proves popular, we can convince SPL's Technical Services department to start cataloging the zines and treating them like any other item in the library's standard collections. For the time being, I am trying to keep a record of my own of the zines in the collection using the wonderful LibraryThing.
