La mia biblioteca: I break my library down into countries/languages, combing both literature and history.
The main sections, in order of size, are English, American, Russian, Japanese, Germanic, Hispanic, India, France. Still many gaps to be filled.
Informazione su di me: Born and educated (Masters in History) in the UK. Worked in England, Canada, Switzerland and the U.S. Retired in the American Pacific Northwest. Been reading for around 70 years (!!), mostly history and fiction, from around the world. Main motivation for reading: understanding "other places and other times." I tend to pass by most contemporary fiction unless I get a recommendation from my wife, whose self appointed task is to broaden my mind.
