The core of my library is an ever-growing collection of books related to the ancient world, with a focus on mid-to-late Republian Rome. This includes textbooks from four years of tertiary ancient history study, a collection of ancient texts in translation, some works in the original languages, a number of novels set in ancient times, and other books which I've purchased out of special interest or to broaden my knowledge.

My fiction collection is comprised primarily of fantasy, mysteries, and some classic literature. I'm a particular fan of Terry Pratchett, J. R. R. Tolkien, C. S. Lewis, and Jane Austen, and my library reflects this.

I'm an archival and library assistant at a major cultural institution in Canberra. I recently graduated from an Honours degree in Ancient History, with a focus on the writings of Cicero. I've also studied Latin, Classical Greek, English, and Politics. I'm studying French and Classical Literature part-time. In my spare time, I enjoy craft, folk music, and computer games.
