I love to read! I am very eclectic in my reading, but mostly I enjoy mysteries, historical romance, and self-help reading. I love to collect reference books as well, particularly herbals and alternative medicine books. I am also passionate about cooking, especially Italian and Vegetarian cooking..and have amassed quite a collection that I add to continually. At one time I was homeschooling my daughter (now 21!!) but gave many of them away once done schooling, and donated them to the local library.
I also love reading about history. Being originally from the DC area, I love reading about the Civil War, and Revolutionary War, as I was very fortunate to be around so much history growing up.

I would love to work as a reference librarian like my grandmother. She worked as a Reference Librarian for the National Institutes of Health. As a kid, I loved going in to help her enter in new journals and books. Just the smell of books brings happiness to my little heart!I hope to pursue an education to do just that, but in the meantime, I work in Customer Service for a national cell phone company.
I am also a mom, and wife and enjoy both dearly! I consider myself spiritual, but not religious. And yes, I believe there is a difference! I love exploring different beliefs and love to talk to people and share my views. I believe I am open minded, and non-judgmental and love to talk to others who, like me, enjoy learning about differences and commonalities among us a as people.
I am currently working on becoming a Canadian Resident, but in the meantime live in the wonderful state of Washington.
