My primary training is in the history and philosophy of science, but my professional career has been a mix of teaching, international development, and science & health policy. The library collections here are thus a mix of my and my wife's different professional and recreational interests over successive work areas and locations, including many years in Egypt. I am currently researching and writing a book about the life & times of Nicholas Copernicus, as reflected in the large number of volumes related to the history of astronomy & mathematics. The fact that the majority of book entries and a handful of old reviews all date from March 2020 is simply a reflection that this is the date when I migrated those entries from an older GoodReads account.
