Informazioni su di meLike everyone else in this community, I'm a bookworm. I'm a medical librarian and lead lit reviewer at a hospital library, plus I teach health informatics, so life is pretty good. I used to be a biologist, but it got kind of squishy, so I changed careers to bring me closer to my true loves-books and research.
I have three boys--14, 13, and 5.

La mia bibliotecaMy library pretty well follows my disparate interests. I've included all the books I own currently, ones that I've read recently that I've either borrowed or checked out from a library since I got my account (late 2006), and ones that I hope to get soon. I'm a collector of degrees (BS Biology and Comparative Religion, MS Library Science and Health Informatics, MBA Health Management) and a life-long learner trying desperately to get my kids as nerdy as me. I want this site to help me find more books and to remind myself of the books I already own that I really need to read.
I've decided to do something kind of crazy-read at least one book from every subject heading in the Library of Congress classification schedule...we'll see how that goes.
Might as well throw in a Dewey Decimal Challenge as well, and I track the progress here
