I'm trying to downsize my library and hoping to divest of some of my collections. I would like these books to be kept as individual collections: mysticism; women and peace.

I am a Professor Emeritus of International Relations at Scripps College Claremont, CA. where I taught Peace Research, and a course on Women and Peace.

As a combat infantryman Sergeant WWII from Normandy to the Elbe I witnessed the folly of war. I followed this experience as a diplomat with service in Dutch East Indies, China and Indonesia where I experienced the violence of two major revolutions. I learned from graduate study that there were practical alternatives to war in the field of nonviolence. As Director of Peace Corps in Malaysia 1964-6, I saw over 2000 volunteers do real peacemaking.
