- I am 65 and have been reading all my life, novels particularly historical novels, non fiction philosophy, theology. I love reading, going into that other world and meeting new people and investigating new ideas. My son, 42, and my daughter, 45 have inherited my love of books and learning and it is the greatest gift I have given them
