i love collecting first edition and/or signed Paul Bowles and Edward Gorey books. I also collect a lot of mid-century graphic design annuals, from Graphis, NY Art Directors Club, Tokyo Art Director's Club and more. Photography and art history also comprise a large chunk of my book collection. As well as comic books. And biographies. And fiction.

i sometimes paint teeny watercolors and gouaches, usually of elderly people or something, if i can find the time. i walk aimlessly around SF alot, with some cheapo russian camera or my sketchbook. i am afraid of heights and get vertigo fairly easily. i keep several moleskines going at once, one for design, one for sketches, one for work and one for my purse. i like reading illustration how-to's and using micron pens. i work as a graphic designer in San Francisco. i am in love and engaged. that's about it for now.
