I've finally moved my library into their new beautiful home - my very own bookbinding workshop/reading hideout. I'm strong on non-fiction, especially as relates to arts & crafts, alternative architecture, alchemy/mysticism/atheism with smatterings of comics, beat poets and Japanese language study guides.

I've decided to finally come out of the closet in regards to my love of libraries. Yes, I am... a librarian! I have always had an interest in books and libraries since I was young that I tried to deny and hide from others, but I can't live with the guilt any longer. I love their smell, I love, feeling their paper, I love lapping the words up off the pages and then lolling about in an intellectual delerium. As a Book Conservator, I love rehabilitating neglected and abused books and making them bright and shiny (to use a lot of "ands"). I have started educating my friends and family about my librarianism, and so far it has been met with nothing but love and acceptance. I am happy to finally find a forum of others who have also accepted this radical lifestyle.
