Cataloging in process! Tags are by location, subject, format, provenance and a few other personal categories. I estimate there are about 2,500 books in total on our shelves. Have not yet cataloged fiction and poetry.

Search by the tag "beloved book" for a list of the books in my collection that are especially precious to me--ones I couldn't ever bear to part with.

Search these tags: the names of smart, beloved people who regularly give me books to see what they have given me: from Glenn, from Richard Broadman, from Andrew, from Altina, from Ed.

Note a major transformation in my reading landscape: I now have a Kindle Touch, and I have hundreds of books on the device. I love my Kindle!

Despite loving my Kindle, I recently deleted my Goodreads account after learning that it was swallowed by amazon.com. Goodreads worked well for me because so many of my friends were on it. Perhaps I can get some of them to come over to Library Thing now.
