I'm new to this thing and still in the process of cataloguing. Most of the adult books I own are a the non-fiction titles I've accumulated in very recent years for my studies. I also have a lot of children's picture books and novels that I'd like to upload (mostly they are packed away in boxes at the moment though).

Apart from that there are a few pop science type ones and a bunch of other miscellaneous odds and sods that I've picked up in op-shops because they amused me. Some are still genuinely interesting to me, others are junk and should really be chucked out.

Mostly I have used libraries, so I dont own a lot of things that are beloved or significant. Though I'm thiniing of making an all-time faves list.

In terms of fiction I have eclectic tastes I suppose. I haven't read much fiction at all in recent years, something I'm hoping to change next year when I have more time and brain-space. I tend to only try something now if it is recommended to me by someone whose tastes I share or opinion I respect. And if it doesnt grab me right away I simply abandon it.
