- La mia biblioteca
- I prefer psychological suspense over every other category. There are smatterings of quirky, contemporary and romance novels in my list. I own over 20 books I haven't read yet. Somehow I find it more interesting to check out books at the library rather then read the ones sitting in my closet. E-Books seem to suck all the life out of my reading enjoyment. I prefer a living, breathing book in my hand.
My reading assessment:
Four stars - Excellent.
Three stars - Good.
Two stars - One or two elements of the story kept if from being a total loss.
One star - Uh, no. - Informazione su di me
- My aunt introduced me to Gothic mystery novels when I was 13. I read Victoria Holt and Mary Stewart novels voraciously. These books were edgy enough to be exciting and pristine enough to be suitable for a teenager growing up in the mid-70's. They are my favorite authors of all time.
I wish I could find a contemporary author out there that wrote novels in the same tone as Holt or Stewart. I am still looking. - Autori preferiti
