Currently and happily employed in the publishing industry, I use my free time to enjoy books which may or may not be popular or high art of any kind. Reading is about communication, enjoyment, humor, and knowledge. I love researching things--you'll find a few historical costume books up there--and young adult fantasy/sci-fi.

I am a 23 year old booklover, aspiring author, and publishing fanatic. I like music (progressive, classical, techno, bluegrass), cheese (young, or stinky), tea (green, white, and black, in that general order) and camping, but rarely at the same time. These sort of things must be savored... Coming from a long line of teachers, my red pen is deadly and often venomous. I detest mis-used em-dashes and especially semicolons. I make a mean Bolognese sauce but always burn chicken. And popcorn.
