My library will stock the classics and literary fiction that I will be reading in 2011, that I intend to read and that I have already read in past years.

I am an English lit. postgraduate, currently staying at home and looking after my son. My career ambition is to become a lecturer, and my current goal is to read as much of the classics and literary fiction as I can within the next six or seven years.

Bread Crumb Reads is the blog where I keep a more detailed record of my reads starting from 2011.

I generally enjoy reading the classics, fantasy, historical fiction, mystery/detective/spy genres, anything on a grand epic scale. I have recently begun trying my hand at contemporary literary fiction and Christian non-fiction.

Some of my favourite books are Memoirs of a Geisha, The Count of Monte Cristo, Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, The Silver Hand being the second book in the Song of Albion series by Stephen R Lawhead, Shadow of the Moon by M M Kaye et al.
