La mia biblioteca
A lot of non-fiction, much of it with a focus on history of some kind, or nature and science. I have many such books I have not found the time to read, and wish I could.

A decent selection of fiction, with the leading genres being fantasy and SF, historical fiction, classics, mysteries, and mythology and folklore.

A good collection of books about art and design. Many of them are books about art technique, some of which have actually proved to be useful, but many of them have not been especially helpful. Also includes some books of artwork. Includes a nice collection of coloring books for adults.

A large supply of books about software languages and programming. I've learned enough from them to survive in my job, but they failed to make me into a good programmer.

Plenty of human language learning materials, for several languages: Russian, Spanish, German, Latin mostly.

A growing collection of graphic format books, such as graphic novels. These I appreciate mostly for the art within.

A decent amount of role playing game books, for a hobby that I have pursued off and on for more than 40 years.
Informazione su di me
In my mid-fifties. Happily married. Born and raised in the American Midwest, but I've spent half of my life so far living in Seattle. In this and other respects, I'm something of a hybrid. I have a 30-year old Masters in Russian, and I used to be fluent in that language, now sadly rusty. I've been working almost 20 years as a software tester, but I don't consider myself a techie, more a humanities person who needed to make a living. In my middle age I've rediscovered my love of making art, lost since childhood.
