I used to read fiction, then I switched to drama, and then I switched to non-fiction. These days I'm mostly into books on British history, mathematics (although I was never good at math in school), and theoretical physics. I also like comics, although I tend to prefer either stuff from the Silver Age or stuff that looks like it's from the Silver Age (such as the work of Steve Rude and Tom Scioli). Since they're so mass-produced these days, I mostly buy trades, a practice that some pundits argue is destroying the industry. Whatever.

I am a 33-year-old male. I have just completed a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science and am currently looking for a position as a librarian. I am a total, total nerd, yet somehow I've managed to marry and become a father. I like coffee, museums, comics, classic video games, theoretical physics, parody science, grammar, bookstores and libraries (obviously), crossword puzzles/word games, '80s anime, trivia, urban legends and hoaxes, "true" ghost stories, Egyptology, Japanese culture, ghost trains, and "dime museums"(like the ones in Gatlinburg, TN).
