Nearly all books in my library were read by me in a digital format using an HP Jornada PDA.

I am a Canadian woman (formerly of Winnipeg, Manitoba) presently living in small-town Germany. I have always been an avid reader preferring to borrow books from the local library rather than owning them.

With my relocation to small-town Germany it became instantly apparent that English language books were no longer so available to me as a borrower. And purchasing them in Germany was considerably more expensive than I ever expected.

I turned to buying eBook versions of what I wanted to read and read them via an acquired PDA. eBooks are considerably cheaper than non-digital books although the selection available can sometimes be limiting.

In any case it all works for me now.
