As an author myself, I will only be posting reviews and ratings for books I really enjoyed on here, and keeping quiet about such books that I did not enjoy. Most of the books I read are dark or epic adult SFF.

I cannot thank this wonderful community enough for their support on Starlight Jewel! So far, 9 of 10 who received the book in the Early Reviewers Giveaway have already reviewed it and input information about it. Considering the length of the book and that it's my debut novel--that's so much better than I had hoped for. I've loved reading those reviews and am heartened by the time everyone took to read, review, and even reach out with questions and comments on my website and social media! You guys really are a dedicated group of readers who are so passionate about books. This is my new favorite nook in the book world.

I'll be doing another Early Reviewers Giveaway for book two if LT'll have me again, but for any of the amazing LT reviewers who read and reviewed book one--please contact me through https://lyonspen.com/contact/ if you'd like a free eARC or a free paper copy sent on release day (Amazon KDP doesn't have any sort of print ARC program, which is quite silly. The author proofs have an ugly gray band on them!) or both! I don't want to overstep and message you all, so I'll just keep this up here and hope you see it! I'll make a few posts on social media when the time gets closer as well.

When will that be? In theory, I should be done with book two by year's end. I've got 33 chapters written and 28 are done with major edits as of July 2023.
