Quite a bit of what I read is YA Fiction. Being the one and only adult librarian in a Christian high school, I need to actually read books that I put on the shelves to avoid unwanted surprises later.

I hated to read until I was 16 years old. That summer I found a historical fiction series at the public library in Rochester, MN. I am not a history buff at all either but the series had me hooked. I have no idea what the series was called or who the author was but I vividly recall my awakening.
