My library here is small as we travel about but once we settle and my books arrive from my mother's house it will be big! My library consists of books bound in greens browns reds and blues for the most part as I prefer hardback books even if they are heavy and expensive to transport about (much to my partner's horror).
My special love is History and books printed prior to 1960 although I am no book snob and will read most things if they catch my eye.
History. Topography. Cooking. Diaries. Biographies. Saints. These are my great loves when it comes to books.

I am one of those who haunt second hand book shops. My father started me collecting (and reading) and on his untimely death I inherited part of his collection.
I live in Germany at the moment with my partner on the banks of the Rhine.
One day soon I hope to be a published author and find my own books collected on this site!
