I have a fairly large library of books, I prefer to buy books rather than borrow. I read a variety of books, but my preference is for Historical Fiction or fiction of women in various situations. I am also enjoying reading autobiographies of people who have lived in various countries around the world.
As a Teacher librarian I aslo try to read as much of the fiction books that I purchase for my school library. Needless to say, I have several books on the go at once!

I am currently working as a Teacher Librarian in a public Primary School of about 600 students. I also work 2 hours a day as a Reading Recovery Teacher for 4 low achieving readers.
Prior to becoming a Teacher Librarian 15 years ago, I worked as a Librarian in various Public Libraries, University Libraries and TAFE Libraries.
