* Longest Novel I've Read: Yukio Mishima's "The Sea of Fertility," 1,418 pp. (longer than LOTR @ 1,008 pp).
* Book #1,000: Churchill's "Great Contemporaries" (2012.9.12).
* Books I Want to Read Before I Die: Proust's [In Search of Lost Time], [The Tale of Genji], [Dream of the Red Chamber].

Informazione su di me

I work at the University of Toronto's Robarts Library, the largest academic library in Canada.

Sometimes, all you need is a book and a hot cup of coffee.
* I couldn't find "The Catcher in the Rye" in my teens, so I read "The Great Gatsby" instead.
* I've tried to read at the beach but the waves and the dogs kept licking me.
* Jobs that I have had: clerk, courier, paralegal, photographer, reporter, researcher, teacher, writer.
* I would like to own and operate an independent cinema.
* Authors who I have had the good fortune to meet: Margaret Atwood, Nino Ricci, Salman Rushdie, and Umberto Eco.
