My collection is slowly moving from the Mark I, Book to the Mark II, eBook version. Having had to move several hundred books at various points in my life I can appreciate the lightness of the e-book - as can my friends. Many of whom refused to help unless I trimmed by library.

I have a pretty eclectic taste in books and have everything from SciFi/Fantasy to biography to historical non-fiction. I don't think I get bogged down in the genre of the the book, I'm more concerned with the content. Is it something that'll keep me interested and pushing my bedtime later and later as I try to read as much as I can? If the answer is yes, then I'm inclined to get the book.
