HISTORY

The Parish library is based on the donation of books from the library of the late John Meiklejohn. He was the Caversham Church organist. His book collection was gifted to the parish after his death. The books are mostly on theology and church history. The Meiklejohn donation is housed at the Caversham Church. It has recently been suplemented by a donation from the Rev. Geoffrey Vine. There are a large numbers of books on the Bible and devotional literature held at the three Worship centres of the Coastal Unity Parish. These collections have accumulated over the years. Inaddition there are the working libraries of the three ministers of the parish. The parish would be most gratful for any donation of either books or money to enhance the size and value of the book collection.
