Christopher is an Elder in the United Methodist Church currently serving as Associate Pastor at Calvary UMC - Wichita, KS. He formerly served as Campus Minister at Wichita State and currently volunteers as chair of the CM@WSU ecumencial board and helps coordinate its chaplaincy group.

He graduated in May 2011 from Saint Paul School of Theology with his MDiv degree and is a 1991 graduate of Wichita State (BA - Sociology). He met his wife Robin while active in Student Activities Council here and they have been married 23 years as of March 2015. They have two sons, ages 19 and 15. Christopher's passion is helping others find their path and sharing what we have found and been given on our journey when our paths intersect. His own path has been winding, being baptized Lutheran, raised Episcopalian, engaging in a full Roman Catholic Catechism, then leaving church to wander and calling himself agnostic. He became "socially Christian" but was really just going through the motions for several years after meeting Robin and then really committed to Christ and this path after joining University UMC in 2001 (right across 21st street!).

Christopher says: "My faith is rooted in the 1st chapter of John, Philippians 2, Colossians 1 and Luke 15, along with Jonah, and the story of Jacob wrestling in Genesis 32, but my journey has been deeply shaped by my encounter with traditions outside Christianity even as I've rarely strayed far from it's banks. I welcome this intersection where our journeys meet. May the Peace of Christ be with you."
