- My books range from a large collection of French and European history, to music and art criticism, historical and literary theory, and a wide range of literature.
In recent years, I have found it necessary to make choices about which books I kept. I discovered this need when I moved and found I have over thirty good size boxes of books and not enough space in my new place to display or store them all. As a bibliophile I found this disturbing but necessary ... blah!
Luckily I am also able to keep a few bookshelves of my books at school, so I've been able to salvage most of my history books! - Informazione su di me
- I've been reading avidly since I was in the fourth grade. I will admit that The Lord of the Rings was my first read and remains a (somewhat guilty) pleasure to this day. Since then, my interests have expanded greatly to include history, art, and literature of many genres. Science fiction and fantasy remain a keen interest, although with a much more mature sensibility that I had in the fourth grade.
More currently, I have a PhD in French/European history, and currently teach in Buffalo, NY. I heard about this site on NPR and I'm looking forward to seeing what it has to offer. - Luogo
