My wife and I's ever growing collection of books. We are excited to have a library our future children can draw from and enjoy.

My name is Michael and I am a historian of early modern Britain. Most of my research centers on the 16th century and the Reformation in the British Isles. But, my teaching and reading interests are varied from Church History, Cardinal Newman, medieval kingship, and theology.

I am 30, married, and a Roman Catholic. Of those three the later two count the most. While I do enjoy my work, my primary concerns and desires center on God, my family, and my friends. I am inordinately blessed in family and friends, for which I thank God every day.

While reading and book collecting is something both my wife and I enjoy, I'd say my reading is fairly narrow, if eclectic compared to others, especially my literature colleagues. History, theology, Tolkien, Lewis, Chesterton, Ronald Knox, and a few others are my go-tos. I do read others but no nearly as deeply.
